Social Media! In late April I had a very long but very fun day. It involved taking a 5:40 a.m. train to Manhattan, then taking another train with NY Daily News Social Media Editor Brad Gerick (center) to Hartford, Connecticut. There we joined Elissa Bass (left), who was slightly worried we would get on the wrong train and at the CT Tourism Conference. The three of us spoke on a panel about social media and how to make it work to your advantage. We had the best panel. You can view the pdf of my slideshow and Elissa and Brad’s, but sadly you don’t get our notes, cause, we’ll they’re ours. We would, however, be happy to speak to you about social media anytime.
After the panel we ate lunch.
Had a very pretty although a bit too sweet dessert.
And then Brad and I made the long trip back to Manhattan where he went off to Queens and I went back to Long Island. Why is it so hard to get to Hartford?
