Something’s brewing in the soil at this California farm

There’s something a bit curious in the soil at Fortunate Farm. In 2018, the farm on California’s Mendocino Coast composted 1.65 million pounds of spent grain, a byproduct of brewing beer.  For Forbes I wrote about how farmer Gowan Batist is working with North Coast Brewing Company to reduce food waste and while creating soil healthy.
