Last winter on a dreary February New York evening I stopped into this tiny little restaurant and met Chef Gazala Halabi. It's always one of my favorites. It was bittersweet this year though when Editor-in-Chief Lauren Wilson, Photographer Liz Clayman and I did the photo shoot for my story on farm to table dog food. It was such a fun story to report and write and any day you get to play with dogs for work

All this NYC sunshine is making it so hard to sit at my computer. Procrastinating by researching possible subjects for the Edible Manhattan travel issue and of course focusing on places by the ocean. Where’s your favorite island?
